This year, MicroStep made a big and important step over the Atlantic Ocean to bring its drive for innovation to the United States of America. It is with great pride that we announce the foundation of a new MicroStep subsidiary Microstep USA that took place in October 2016. Based in Gastonia, North Carolina, our newest branch is led by Mr. Viresh Sitapara, a skilled leader with a rich technical and managing experience. Between his competence and our expertise in the field of cutting and automation we aspire to bring our state-of-the-art solutions to producers in the U. S., the largest cutting machine market in the world.

Mr. Viresh Sitapara has an extensive education, obtaining a BS in Power Electronics, MS in Electrical Engineering and PhD in Engineering Management.
Among his other experience, Mr. Sitapara worked for ESAB Welding and Cutting Products for more than 20 years where he started as an electrical engineer and rose through rank quickly to become Global R&D Director and MD of Global Cutting Technology.
Mr. Sitapara also holds a position of a Commercial Advising Director in Clean Propulsion Technology, a research technology start up in space travel and is an owner and President of Durja Consultancy, a company that help clients with various technological, industrial and automation projects.
