From May 20 to 23, 2025, the Agrokomplex exhibition center in Nitra, Slovakia will host the 30th edition of the International Engineering Fair (MSV) – a traditional event for Slovakia’s and Central Europe’s industrial community. This year’s edition will highlight automation, digitalization, sustainable technologies, and education. Program highlights include the “Next-Generation Industry” conference, the TECHFORUM exhibition, and the Slovak Welding Simulation Championship.
As a leader in CNC technology and a pioneer in bevel cutting, MicroStep will present a comprehensive lineup of its latest innovations for metal processing and smart manufacturing. The booth's centerpiece will be a 1.5 × 3 m MSF Compact fiber laser, featuring live cutting demos every day – from thick material cutting to ultra-fast thin-sheet processing using DynaFly technology.
MicroStep’s exhibit will include several hands-on demo zones:
A fully functional CyberFab® Control console will be available at the Digital Corner, giving visitors the chance to try out MicroStep’s software ecosystem – Asper (2D CAM), mCAM (3D CAM), and CyberFab® Manager, the company’s in-house production planning and management platform. Together, they simulate a smart manufacturing cell, complete with automated sorting, bending, and more.
Last year, MicroStep celebrated a major milestone: 25 years of plasma bevel cutting. Since delivering its first bevel machines to crane manufacturer Palfinger in 1999, the company has expanded its beveling solutions to include waterjet (since 2001), oxyfuel, and fiber laser. Today, MicroStep has installed over 1,200 beveling systems across more than 50 countries. Its bevel solutions are now standard in industries like shipbuilding, offshore, heavy machinery, and mining, where reliable weld preparation is essential.
Visitors to the Dome Corner will see firsthand how MicroStep simplifies dome processing. With more than 20 years of experience in vessel head and tank end cutting, MicroStep is a go-to supplier for innovative, accurate, and operator-friendly dome solutions. Its proprietary dome scanning technology and mScan 3D mapping software make dome processing fast and easy. Even domes over 3 meters in diameter can be scanned and prepared for cutting in just four basic steps, with the full setup taking only a few minutes.
Discover the multifunctionality and flexibility of MicroStep’s smart cutting systems. Whether you’re exploring new automation possibilities or just want to see the latest in CNC tech up close – we’ll be glad to welcome you at our booth!
