Machineering 2023 turned out to be a success not only for MicroStep but also for our partner, Wouters Cutting & Welding (WCW). The exhibition had a high number of visitors who demonstrated interest in the cutting-edge solutions. As a result, WCW received numerous requests for MicroStep cutting solutions.
The willingness to invest that is currently growing in manufacturing companies across the Benelux translated into strong visitor numbers at the ultimate technology trade fair held at Brussels Expo. As a matter of fact, no fewer than 6,552 professional visitors attended the most recent edition of Machineering 2023, 6% of whom hailed from the Netherlands.
The 115 exhibitors at Machineering showcased a host of innovations and demonstrations of emerging technologies focusing on automation, digitalisation, robotisation, and energy-efficient manufacturing solutions for manufacturing companies. Cutting & Forming Technology was the 3rd most visited technology route out of 10 at this exhibition. This demonstrates the high demand for this type of technology, and the relevance of the solutions showcased by companies operating in this sector of industry.
Our partner Wouters Cutting & Welding (WCW) showcased MicroStep's flagship plasma cutting machine, the
MG, equipped with a plasma rotator and drilling spindle. Apart from the interest in MG series, the visitors also showed considerable interest in laser cutting technologies. The live cutting show attracted a lot of attention, leading to around 15 requests for MicroStep machines and approximately 40 requests in total for WCW.
Maarten Peelaers, Operation Manager of WCW, expressed his satisfaction with the results of the exhibition:
"We are pleased with the number of requests we received and the positive feedback from visitors who were impressed with the capabilities of MicroStep's machines."
