CCD Camera
This camera can be used for two applications:
Template scanning
The template is scanned and converted to a CNC program or .dxf format. The best results are with a dull black template and white background (usually paper). The scanned lines must have sharp edges and be at least 5 mm distant from each other. The camera is fixed on a cutting tool station during the scanning process and is removed during cutting.
Synchronization with pre-drilled holes
A plate with pre-drilled holes is transferred to a cutting machine equipped with the CCD camera. After scanning the holes, the system is able to derive the correct positions of the contours to be cut. In this case, the camera is mounted on a cutting tool station or a separate tool station and equipped with protection against molten metal as removing it after every scanning process would significantly slow down production.

Technical parameters
| Scanning height | 200 – 300 mm |
|---|---|
| Scanning window size | 100 x 100 mm |
| Speed of scanning | 1,700 mm/min |
|---|---|
| Precision of scanning | 0.5 mm |
Please note: The precision does not depend on the size of the object. In a lower scanning height the precision can be improved but the scanning speed will be lower.
| Scanning height | 7 7⁄8 – 11 13⁄16 in |
|---|---|
| Scanning window size | 3 15⁄16 x 3 15⁄16 in |
| Speed of scanning | 66 59⁄64 in/min |
|---|---|
| Precision of scanning | 1⁄64 in |
Please note: The precision does not depend on the size of the object. In a lower scanning height the precision can be improved but the scanning speed will be lower.
